This winter, The Photo Institute is offering the classes shown below.

It is suggested that every student considering taking any class at The Photo Institute take Beginning SL Photography.

THE SEMESTER IS BEING SPLIT TO ACCOMMODATE THE HOLIDAYS. Some classes will be held in December, more will happen after the first of the new year.

There will be no classes December 21 – January 1.

TPI Critique Nights!

Every Wednesday, beginning December 10, 2008, at 6:30pm SLT current TPI students can bring their homework and other personal works to a special session of advice and commentary.

Time frame is open and there is no fee for this session. There will be no sessions December 24 & 31.

**Every student is encouraged to visit our Library to review the free tutorial: Elements of Photo Critique.**

Critique is one of the most important skills any artist will ever learn. The skills of observation, analysis and expression not only allow you to develop and express a useful opinion about other people’s work, they also give you invaluable tools for evaluating and improving your own work. The value to the artist of competent and trusted critique cannot be overstated. The tutorial can also be found on Koinup.
